Rising Technologies Awareness Course (RTAC)
This course is designed to teach law enforcement officers how to identify, investigate, and defend against modern threats. One of the principal topics covered is the criminal use of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and Network Interface Cards (NICs) and how these devices can be used to gain unauthorized entry, collect data, and perform various other unlawful acts. Other topics include identifying criminal Radio Frequency (RF) jamming operations, establishing communications in a contested environment, investigating any of the covered topics, and counter-tactics officers can employ when securing an area or event.
This course is approved by the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy and affords officers four hours of training. Our course identification number is 7260
Electronic Force Protection Course (EFPC)
This course enables officers to detect, intercept, and deny the use of adversary communications, early warning systems, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) such as drones in a tactical environment where surprise is key. This course was created to combat the threats officers now face with the rise of consumer UAVs and technologies designed specifically to counter law enforcement.
By the end of this training cycle, each officer will understand the basics of Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum Analysis and fundamental Electronic Warfare (EW) principles. These principles will be demonstrated in a mock tactical environment to ensure material familiarity under pressure.
Advanced Response Course (ARC)
This course is primarily designed for armed security professionals seeking advanced training. Similar to RTAC for law enforcement officers, it covers the use of Software-Defined Radios (SDRs) and Network Interface Cards (NICs) and how these devices can be used to gain unauthorized entry, collect data, and perform various other unlawful acts. Other topics include identifying criminal Radio Frequency (RF) jamming operations and establishing communications in a contested environment.
This course places a strong emphasis on counter-tactics that security professionals can employ to further secure their facilities. An on-site security inspection with findings is also available for organizations requesting this training.
